Laying still


Do you just feel numb sometimes?
No thoughts.
No feelings.
No emotions.
No words.
Just numb.
You don’t know what to say or how to feel. Sometimes you even lack the strength to even do anything.

Sometimes we try to understand why or how this “numbness” comes about. We barely find answers to these questions when they come and yes, we occupy our mind soon enough to stop the quest for these answers.

It’s a wonderful thing you can get to experience that stillness, this means that it is possible for you to “turn-off” distractions for a subtle while and this leaves room for a refresh.

Distractions are common. The likes of anxiety, fear, depression, anger, sadness etc and the best way to rid yourself of these can be as simple as laying still…
It may mot be easy, as sometimes it comes when you least expect it and you barely know how to control it.
Laying still gives you a refresh! It’s like a reboot for the mind. It gives your mind a break, allowing it to breathe before one begin to clog it again.
So the next time you feel ” still“, welcome it and bask in it. For your mind will thank you for it…
